It's a moment all golfing parents dream about. Their son or daughter stridding down the 18th with their cap raised to the gallery and a major championship in the bag.
Unfortunately for many of us, those dreams remain just dreams. But for a small minority of us they do come true, but not without a lot of hard work and determination from everyone involved.
While we can't promise we can turn your youngster into the next Rory McIlroy or Lydia Ko we can certainly give you insight into the best ways to promote junior golf talent at a young age.
We headed down to De Vere Wokefield Park to meet our regular golf instruction specialist and PGA professional Adam Glass to see exactly how he goes about teaching one of his star pupils in 13-year-old Eddie Wang.
Eddie, who Adam is tipping for a very bright future in the game, has been playing for several years now and has progressed down to a 12-handicap.
While impressive, I quickly realised why Eddie was already on the verge of single figures in his early teens when I saw the types of golf and fitness drills he was encountering.
