WITB of weekend winners on PGA Tour, DP World Tour and LIV Golf

It was a busy weekend in the world of golf as we saw the first LIV Golf Team Championship come to an end and (unofficial) history on the DP World Tour. 

Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Talor Gooch and Pat Perez all shot under par at Trump National Doral on Sunday to win the finale of the Saudi-backed series, banking $4 million each in an event worth $50 million.

Johnson was also crowned as the first individual champion of the rebel league, having won the Boston Invitational and showing complete consistency in all eight events of the inaugural season.

Over in Portugal, Jordan Smith stormed to victory at the Portugal Masters by three shots. With a 63 in the final round, he reached 30-under-par which helped to secure his second win on the European circuit.

Although Smith set the new record for the lowest-ever 72-hole score on the Tour, his total of 254 won't go down in the official record books as it was aided by preferred lies.

Seamus Power battled hard to win the Butterfield Bermuda Championship on the PGA Tour after shooting a final-round 70 to win by a single shot from Thomas Detry.

Ben Griffin had led by two shots from Power with seven holes left, but the rookie made four bogeys and a double-bogey coming home to gift a second Tour win to Power.
