LIV Golf rebel confirms plans in works for new Korea event in 2025 (or before?!)
LIV Golf done and dusted by 2024? Kevin Na says thinks again...
If you are expecting LIV Golf to be done and dusted before the end of the year following the PGA Tour's recent merger with its bankrollers Saudi PIF, you might want to think again after what Kevin Na has just told the media.
Na, who won five times on the PGA Tour before switching over to LIV Golf last season, has revealed there are plans in the works for a LIV Golf tournament in Korea within the next two years.
The Iron Heads GC captain told the media ahead of LIV Golf Greenbrier this week that he and his team recently headed over to Korea to promote LIV Golf.
Na's team is currently made up Sihwan Kim, Danny Lee and Scott Vincent.
American Na, who was born in South Korea before emigrating to USA with his family when he was eight years old, is adamant there will be a LIV Golf tournament in Korea potentially in 2024, but more than likely in 2025.

South Korea has some of the best golfers on the planet right now including Presidents Cup stars Tom Kim, Sungjae Im, Si Woo Kim and KH Lee.
Although that star Korean fourball remains based on the PGA Tour, and likely will do moving forwards into 2024 and beyond.
On the LPGA Tour, South Korea is also well represented by a number of the world's best including Jin Young Ko and Hyo-Joo Kim.
Na believes once Korea is on the LIV Golf map then it will become a "game changer" for the nation:
The LIV Golf pro said:
Currently there are 14 tournaments on the LIV Golf schedule, with six tournaments outside of the United States (Mexico, Australia, Singapore, Spain, England and Saudi Arabia).
LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman has recently declared the circuit will continue next season despite June's shock merger between the PGA Tour and the Saudi Public Investment Fund, which currently bankrolls LIV Golf.
Norman says his phone has been off the hook with interested PGA Tour players hungry to play on LIV Golf in 2024.
One big-name player linked with a move away from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf has laughed off such claims.
Tiger Woods this week became a player director on the PGA Tour Policy Board, meaning the players now have a majority say in shaping the future of the PGA Tour.
Some think that could spell the end of LIV Golf, but clearly Norman, Na and co. consider the circuit is only just getting started.
