Rife introduces 'entry level' putters
Same 'RollGroove' technology at a cheaper price
Both the Rife 460 Mid Blade and Rife 400 Mid Mallet will be sold for £79.99 and feature Rife’s patented horizontal face grooves, developed by Guerin Rife, and which has earned a recent victory for Ian Poulter and made the brand the No. 1 putter on the US Champions Tour for the last two years. The Rife 460 Mid Blade combines the original Tour blade and Pro Blade in a heel-shafted cavity blade without a hosel. It has a thinner, classic 'anser style' look and promotes forgiveness and a non-skid roll off the putter face. The Rife 400 Mid Mallet is a compact, cavity back mallet in which the neck has been eliminated to save weight. When combined with the scalloped rear flange, the heel-toe effect enlarges the sweet spot. "It's always exciting to launch a new line," says Matt Molloy, president of Rife Putters. "To see all the research and hard work come together is very rewarding. We priced the 460 Mid Blade and the 400 Mid Mallet reasonably, to introduce Rife technology to as broad an audience as possible.” |
