Golfers will do anything to save a penalty stroke, especially when you can see half the ball.
But sometimes out there on the golf course, it's worth swallowing some pride and taking your medicine with a dropped shot, particularly when you're faced with a life and death situation like in the video below.
After playing a superb recovery shot - we're not sure if he holed the putt - the man plummets down the side of the cliff and falls face first into the water...
Thankfully this chap lived to tell the tale, coming away with a few cuts and bruises, but it could have been so much worse!
