Harris English is an American professional golfer born in 1989 in Valdosta, Georgia.
After a successful amateur career at the University of Georgia, he turned professional in 2011 and quickly established himself on the PGA Tour.
English has earned multiple PGA Tour victories, including early wins in 2013 and a standout 2021 season in which he captured both the Sentry Tournament of Champions and the Travelers Championship, the latter in a marathon playoff.
Known for his smooth swing, calm demeanour, and consistent ball-striking, he has been a steady presence on leaderboards for more than a decade.
English has also appeared on the international stage, representing the United States in the Ryder Cup in 2021 and 2025 at Whistling Straits and Bethpage Black.
English has an overall Ryder Cup record of 1-2-0.
In major championships, he has delivered several strong performances, highlighted by a third-place finish at the 2021 U.S. Open and runner-up finishes at both the 2025 Open Championship and the 2025 PGA Championship.
