After a successful amateur career at the University of Georgia, he turned professional in 2011 and quickly established himself on the PGA Tour.
English has earned multiple PGA Tour victories, including early wins in 2013 and a standout 2021 season in which he captured both the Sentry Tournament of Champions and the Travelers Championship, the latter in a marathon playoff.
Known for his smooth swing, calm demeanour, and consistent ball-striking, he has been a steady presence on leaderboards for more than a decade.
English has also appeared on the international stage, representing the United States in the Ryder Cup in 2021 and 2025 at Whistling Straits and Bethpage Black.
