PING engineers sought a balance of forgiveness and playability in the design of the i5 iron. The mid-size, perimeter-weighted head features less offset than the G5 iron while sharing many of the G5's proven design characteristics, including the solid feel achieved through the Custom Tuning Port (CTP).
