White Hot XG #7

The appearance of the White Hot XG #7 is very similar to the Versa #7 from Odyssey and they both look great with their distinctive fang-look.

Two lines run along the fans which aid in lining-up putts and there are also three dots on the top of the putter where a traditional alignment aid would sit. In between the fangs there is an area which a ball sits in perfectly. When I was putting I  found this almost created an imaginary channel running from the putter to where I wanted the putt to finish. This is one of the easiest putters to line-up I have ever used.

As we expect from Odyssey, the White Hot XG #7 has a very consistent soft feel that also offers a great deal of forgiveness.

The putter is extremely stable due to the fang design which takes the weight of the putter to the outside edges of the club which prevents twisting. It promotes a stable, controlled stroke.

Verdict

A putter with a soft feel that is very easy to line up.
