Harris English will be making his second Ryder Cup appearance for the United States at Bethpage Black.

The 36-year-old multiple PGA Tour winner was chosen as one of Steve Stricker's six wildcards when he made his debut at Whistling Straits in 2021.

Back then, a stacked US side ran out comfortable 19-9 winners, relying heavily on the experience of a prime Dustin Johnson - who became the first American since 1979 to win all five of his matches.

Collin Morikawa, Patrick Cantlay, Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Jordan Spieth, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau and Scottie Scheffler all contributed at least two points in Wisconsin.

English, a rookie, and Daniel Berger only featured in three matches.

He teamed up with Tony Finau in the foursomes and the four-balls. The duo beat Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry 4&3 in the four-balls, but were beaten on the final hole by Lowry and Tyrrell Hatton in the fourth session.

English was drawn against Lee Westwood in the singles, but again lost a tight match on the final hole against the former World No.1.
