Poston -7 (F)
Poston holes a 30-footer for birdie on the 18th for a round of 68.
It moves the American into T3 and 7-under par.
That's just three back of Scheffler.
Scheffler -11 (F)
Scheffler drains a 12-footer for birdie on the tough par-4 18th.
He played the last five holes in an unbelievable 5-under par.
The closing stretch at Quail Hollow Club is supposed to be one of the hardest on Tour.
It all adds up to a fantastic round of 65 and the World No.1 leads by three shots on 11-under par.
"Pure brilliance," said Sky Sports on-course commentator Wayne Riley on the performance of Scheffler on Saturday.
Scheffler is seeking a third career major title and a first PGA Championship.
Poston -7 (F)
Poston holes a 30-footer for birdie on the 18th for a round of 68.
It moves the American into T3 and 7-under par.
That's just three back of Scheffler.
Scheffler -10 (17)
Another fantastic birdie from Scheffler.
He sends a great iron shot in to 20 feet and then drains the birdie putt to move to double digits.
Scheffler 10-under and two ahead.
Just the tough par-4 18th to play.
Scheffler -9 (16)
Scheffler found the fairway (just missing the bunker) and then sent a great iron shot in to 15 feet.
He missed the birdie attempt but a par at 16 is always a solid score.
Scheffler remains at 9-under and one shot clear of European duo Noren and Pavon.
McIlroy +2 (16)
There's a reason you're not hearing much about McIlroy from us today.
He's just not been at the races all week sadly.
McIlroy is 1-over for the round and 2-over for the tournament.
He just found the water on the par-5 7th but holed a 50-footer for par.
McIlroy looks down and out.
Pavon -8, Vegas -7 (15)
Pavon and Vegas swap places on the board at the par-5 15th.
Pavon makes birdie to move to 8-under while Vegas finds the water en route to a bogey.
Scheffler -9 (15)
Scheffler gets up and down for birdie from the right side of the par-5 15th and it sends the World No.1 into the outright lead once more.
Three tough holes to finish now.
Vegas -8 (14), Pavon -7 (14)
Vegas joins the lead at 8-under par, while Pavon nudges himself up to T3.
We have such a bunched board heading into Sunday as things stand.
DeChambeau -5 (F)
Tough ending for Bryson but he gets out of the tough 18th with a par.
It's a round of 69 for the LIV Golf superstar.
But he won't be happy with that finish.
Bryson three back.

Tony Finau | -5 | 69 |
Bryson DeChambeau | -5 | 17 |

Matt Fitzpatrick | -5 | 13 |
Noren -8 (F)
Sweden's Alex Noren says not so fast Scottie as he sinks in a fourth birdie in the last five holes to join the lead on 8-under par.
A brilliant 66 from Noren, who as we say is making just his second start of the season following a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injury.
Scheffler -8 (14)
TAP IN EAGLE FOR SCOTTIE!
WHAT A SHOT!
Scheffler smashes his tee shot a couple of feet away from the pin.
He taps in from close range for eagle and it sends Scheffler into the outright lead on 8-under par.

DeChambeau -5 (17)
Absolutely shocking from Bryson.
He finds the water and makes double.
Back to 5-under.
Kim -6 (13)
Kim birdies the par-3 13th to move one shot off the pace.
Scheffler -6 (13)
Sloppy bogey for Scheffler on the par-3 13th.
He finds the bunker short of the green and then fails to get up and down for par.
One back.
DeChambeau -7 (16)
DeChambeau fails to get up and down for birdie on the par-4 16th, the start of the dreaded Green Mile.
We now have FIVE leaders: DeChambeau, Scheffler, Vegas, Riley and Noren.
Noren -7 (17)
Noren makes a brilliant birdie two on the tough par-3 17th.
It sends the Swede into T2 and one back of DeChambeau.
Noren is making just his second start on the PGA Tour this season.
He returned to action after a lengthy layoff due to injury at the Truist Championship last week.
Scheffler -7 (12)
Huge birdie for Scheffler at 12.
The World No.1 split the fairway and then fired a dart in to 10 feet left of the pin.
He then brushed the downhiller straight into the heart of the cup for a birdie to move to 7-under.
Scheffler one back of DeChambeau.
Rahm -6 (F)
It's a closing par for Rahm.
A brilliant round of 67 for the LIV Golf superstar.
Rahm in great shape at 6-under par.
DeChambeau -8 (15)
DeChambeau takes the outright lead with a birdie on the par-5 15th - the last real birdie opportunity at Quail Hollow.
After finding the rough off the tee, Bryson bashed a fairway wood into the front greenside bunker.
The LIV Golf superstar then splashed out superbly to six feet and he then converted the birdie putt to move to 8-under par.
Bryson one clear of Vegas and Riley.
Bradley -5 (F)
U.S. Ryder Cup captain and 2011 PGA champion Keegan Bradley pours in a 15-footer for birdie on the tough par-4 18th.
It all adds up to a 68 to move Bradley to 5-under and two shots off the pace as it stands.
A second PGA title for Bradley on Sunday would see him make the U.S. Ryder Cup team automatically.
If that happens then you'd anticipate he would hand over the reins to someone else.
Scheffler -6 (11)
Sloppy bogey for Scheffler.
He found the left rough of the tee and then came up shy of the green.
From there, Scheffler chipped 18 feet past the hole and two-putted for bogey.
Back to 6-under and one back.

B. DeChambeau -7 (14)
Unsurprisingly, Bryson takes a crack at the 14th green with a fairway wood. His golf ball looks as though it's sailing straight into the spectators but the thick rough gobbles it up.
Plenty of green to work with, though, and the LIV recruit plays a delightful second to set up a five-foot putt for birdie.
He strokes it home nicely and is now at the top of the leaderboard with three others.
T. Finau -5 (15)
We've not mentioned Tony Finau much over the first two days but the American is not going away anytime soon.
Finau has a great chance to pick up a stroke at the 15th but his birdie putt from inside 10 feet just grazes the left edge of the cup.
He'll remain at 5-under and two back of the leaders.
