Ben Griffin, born May 6, 1996, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, turned professional in 2018 after a solid collegiate career at the University of North Carolina.
He got his start on PGA Tour Canada, capturing his first pro title at the 2018 Staal Foundation Open.
After a challenging period - which included stepping away from full-time professional golf in 2021 to work as a mortgage-loan officer - he returned with renewed focus, earning his Korn Ferry Tour card in 2022 and his PGA Tour card for 2023.
In 2025, Griffin broke through on the PGA Tour, claiming victories at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans (with partner Andrew Novak) and the Charles Schwab Challenge, giving him three PGA Tour wins to date.
The victory led to Griffin entering the top-10 in the world rankings for the first time in his career.
His rise also earned him a spot on the 2025 US Ryder Cup team at Bethpage Black in New York.
Griffin is married to Dana Myeroff.
