Charley Hull frustrated with Lexi Thompson's pace of play at U.S. Women's Open
Watch: Charley Hull was seen huffing and puffing as she waited for Lexi Thompson to putt out on the 1st hole in the first round of the U.S. Women's Open, and it continued all round…

Charley Hull was seen getting frustrated at the length of time it took Lexi Thompson to putt out on the 1st hole during the first round of the U.S. Women's Open.
Hull, 29, was seen huffing, puffing and uttering something under her breath as Thompson, 30, stood over her five-footer on the par-5 1st.
Thompson went on to make a bogey, while Hull made a birdie.
Hull was also seen sitting on the 9th tee box before Thompson had finished up putting on the 8th green.
And just before the end of the round, Hull was seen storming off ahead even before Thompson had struck her tee shot down 18.
Thompson and Hull are playing alongside World No.1 Nelly Korda for the opening two rounds in the second ladies major of 2025.

Hull is considered one of the fastest players on the LPGA, while it's fair to say Thompson is one of the more deliberate.
The Englishwoman last year claimed she smoked cigarettes because it helped her relax when there was slow play on the course.
But this year she quit.
After her latest reaction to Thomson's pace of play on Thursday, it's fair to say she is probably regretting that call.
Thompson, meanwhile, announced her retirement from full-time golf at the end of last season.
The American is now just playing in a select number of tournaments on the LPGA along with the majors.

And then on 18, Hull was snapped below storming off ahead before Thompson and Korda had even hit struck their tee shots.
Safe to say Charley Hull is a *bit* impatient as this first round wraps up.
