Dustin Johnson got his week at The Open Championship off to the perfect start with a birdie on the 1st hole!
Johnson, the former World No.1, came tied eighth at The Open last year at Royal St.George's...
What a round from Cameron Young!
With eight birdies and 10 pars, the American leads by three shots with a 64 on Thursday at St Andrews.
He finished tied third at the US PGA Championship and he has been one of the stand-out players on the PGA Tour this season...

Dustin Johnson got his week at The Open Championship off to the perfect start with a birdie on the 1st hole!
Johnson, the former World No.1, came tied eighth at The Open last year at Royal St.George's...
World No.1 Scottie Scheffler hit a stinging iron down the centre of the fairway on the 1st hole!
He is playing with Joaquin Niemann and Tyrrell Hatton as he seeks his fifth win of the season and his second major title.
The 25-year-old won The Masters in April and came tied second at the US Open last month...
If you're just joining us,
Phil Mickelson has finished his first round.
Perhaps The R&A were throwing a bit of shade towards Lefty as he was given an early tee time.
He's finished up with a level par round of 72.
That included three bogeys and three birdies.
Since Mickelson returned to golf, his score to par hasn't been... well it hasn't been great.
Will Mickelson make the cut?
Game Number 36 gets underway with Dustin Johnson, Marc Leishman and Adam Scott.
They'll be followed by:
Shane Lowry moves back to level par after a really poor start.
No dramas for Rory McIlroy as he finds another par at 11, although he was miffed he didn't hit his birdie putt with enough pace to get his golf ball to the hole.
Some start for Ernie Els at golf's oldest major.
He's 5-under after 12 holes.
It's hard to believe that it was in 2002 that The Big Easy won the first of his two Opens at Muirfield Golf Links.
It was a quiet, respectable start for Morikawa, who went out in level par.
But he's found successive birdies now to move into the red numbers.
Eight to go for Collin...
Viktor Hovland, Shane Lowry and Justin Thomas all pick up a stroke on the ninth hole.
Hovland moves to 2-under, as does Thomas.
Lowry is 1-over now.
Meanwhile, Cam Smith notches his fifth successive par at 17 green.
He then completes an excellent day's work with a birdie at 18 to move to 5-under and two back of Young, who can't find birdie at 16.
Bryson DeChambeau finds a birdie at the 18th to post a 3-under par 69.
Here's how things currently stand...
-7 Cameron Young (14)
-4 Rory McIlroy (9)
-4 Barclay Brown (68)
-4 Cameron Smith (16)
-4 Kurt Kitayama (68)
-4 Ernie Els (11)
-4 Brad Kennedy (11)
Cameron Young has a lead of three shots and he's just prodded a nervy birdie putt at 14 wide of the mark.
That was a great opportunity to move to 8-under.
Meanwhile, Bryson DeChambeau has just taken on the famous tee shot at 17.
The windows of the Old Course Hotel have not been shattered by the LIV Golf player.
He's smashed his drive into the long grass, just avoiding the road and now he'll have to hack out...
Ian Poulter had a strange start to the day when he received a couple of boos.
He almost missed the fairway with an iron...
The Englishman told BBC Radio Five Live: "Pretty solid day all bar a strange tee shot on the first which nearly went out of bounds - that was not how you wanted to start a round at St Andrews."
Thanks Matt for the updates this morning.
Ben here to take you through coverage of this landmark major for the next hour or so.
Can we just appreciate what this young man has done this morning?
Amateur Barclay Brown, who came through Open Qualifying, has carded a 4-under 68.
"It's been unbelievable, I couldn't think when I was playing Open qualifying what it would actually be like here but it's been absolutely amazing, I've been blown away by it," he told Sky Sports.
"My parents are here, I've four or five friends here, my brother's here and my girlfriend so I've got a nice group of people who have managed to come up which I really appreciate."
After receiving muted boos on the first hole, Ian Poulter carded a 3-under-par 69 to make a solid start at The Open.
The Englishman holed a putt of over 160 feet on the 9th hole for an eagle in what was a highlight of his round.
Poulter almost hit his first tee shot out of bounds to the left, so he will be pleased with his opening score on the day he became an ambassador for OKX...

Genesis Scottish Open champion Xander Schauffele is finding more form again on a British links course!
After a perfect pitch into the 7th hole, the 28-year-old rolled in his birdie putt to reach 2-under-par for the week.
The World No.5 has made a great recovery since bogeying his first hole of the tournament...
Rory McIlroy hasn't missed a shot yet in the first round and it looks like he can't miss with his putter!
He rolls in a short birdie putt on the 7th hole to reach 4-under-par and he is yet to make a mistake on the Old Course.
He is three shots behind Cameron Young who is on the 13th hole...
Cameron Young is off to a very hot start in the first round of The 150th Open, making seven birdies in his opening 12 holes.
He rolled in his latest birdie putt to reach 7-under-par and he currently has a two-shot lead over J. H. Kim.
Young is certainly a contender for Rookie of the Year, recording three runner-up finishes on the PGA Tour and a tied third finish at the US PGA Championship...
Home favourite Robert MacIntyre has made a fantastic start to The 150th Open Championship!
Despite making a bogey on the 6th hole, the Scotsman just made his fifth birdie of the day on the par-4 12th hole to reach 4-under-par.
He missed the cut at the Genesis Scottish Open last week, but MacIntyre is determined to perform well at The Open in his own backyard.
Justin Thomas turned heads with his clothing choice this morning at the Old Course, but he has also turned heads with his golf!
After a chip from the long grass next to the par-5 5th green, the US PGA champion rolled in a solid birdie putt to reach 1-under-par.
Amateur Barclay Brown was an impressive three-shot winner of the Final Qualifying tournament at Hollinwell in June.
He has begun his 150th Open campaign superbly with a 4-under-par 68. He is currently in a tie for second place.
Brown was a member of last year’s Britain and Ireland Walker Cup team and he will be contending for the Silver Medal this week.
Here is the first leaderboard update in the first round of The Open:
