Ortiz -1 (14)
Ortiz is now 4-under for the round.
He's just rolled in a seven-footer on the par-4 14th.
The LIV Golf man is now solo third and up to 1-under par.
We're on the hour.
So you know what that means.
It's time for a leaderboard update.
10 players within five as it stands:
1 | Sam Burns | -3 | 5 |
1 | JJ Spaun | -3 | 5 |
3 | Carlos Ortiz | Par | 13 |
3 | Adam Scott | Par | 6 |

5 | Ben Griffin | +1 | 7 |
5 | Viktor Hovland | +1 | 6 |
9 | Tyrrell Hatton | +2 | 11 |
9 | Russell Henley | +2 | 8 |

15 | Jon Rahm | +4 | 14 |
22 | Scottie Scheffler | +5 | 16 |
22 | Brooks Koepka | +5 | 9 |
51 | Rory McIlroy | +10 | 74 |
Lawrence +1 (8)
Lawrence misses a tiddler for par on 8.
That was one of the shortest putts we've seen missed all week.
It's back to back bogeys for the South African and he's back to where he started the day on 1-over par.
That's in a tie for fifth.
Burns -3, Spaun -3 (5)
Burns makes his first birdie of the day to join Spaun in the lead.
He fires a brilliant wedge shot in to two feet on the par-4 5th.
More like it from the 36-hole leader.
Spaun lags his lengthy birdie attempt up to the cup for a tap-in par.
It's raining quite hard at the moment.
Co-leader... again!

C. Ortiz Par (12)
Ortiz had 10 feet for eagle on the par-5 12th but came up short.
It's a tap-in birdie and the Mexican moves into a tie for third on level par.
The LIV Golf man is an impressive 3-under for his round thru 12.
Lawrence Par (7)
Lawrence fails to get up and down for par on the tough par-4 7th.
It means only two players are in the red.
Lawrence three back and tied for third with Scott, who is playing the 6th.
MacIntyre +3 (F)
It's a bogey on 18 for Bob Mac but it all adds up to a solid round of 69.
MacIntyre lies at 3-over par thru 54 holes.
That will give him an outside shot on Sunday.
Spaun -3, Burns -2 (4)
Spaun takes back the lead on the par-5 4th.
He rolls home a birdie from four feet.
Burns can only manage a par after a clumsy chip from the edge of the green.
Spieth (+6)
Spieth cards a 71.
He's probably too far back.
Scheffler +5 (15)
Another bogey for Scheffler.
Just not happening for him.
Back to 5-over and looks out of it.
1 | Sam Burns | -2 | 3 |

15 | Jon Rahm | +4 | 12 |
15 | Brooks Koepka | +4 | 7 |
51 | Rory McIlroy | +10 | 74 |
MacIntyre +2 (17)
Birdie for Bob Mac at the short par-4 17th.
It moves the Scot into the top 10.
Lawrence -1 (6)
Lawrence curls in a 20 footer for birdie on the par-3 6th.
The South African moves to 2-under for the round and into the red for the tournament.
Lawrence right back in the mix.
Scheffler +4 (14)
Golden chance missed for Scheffler.
He stuffs a wedge from 120 yards to five feet.
His birdie attempt doesn't even hit the cup.
Story of his week so far.
Awful putting.
Burns -2, Spaun -2 (3)
Spaun caught an unfortunate lie down the left rough with the ball well above his feet.
He sprayed his layup into the rough and it led to a bogey.
Burns narrowly misses his 14-footer for birdie and it's safe par.
We're tied at the top.
Hovland E, Scott +1 (2)
After a dodgy start, Viktor Hovland makes a safe par at the 2nd to settle any nerves.
As does the former Masters champ.
Koepka +4 (4)
Brooks Koepka has had a poor start with two bogeys in his opening four holes.
He stops the bleeding with a par at the par-5 4th.
Burns -3, Spaun -3 (1)
JJ Spaun and Sam Burns both hit the green with their approaches at the 1st, but it's the former who is closer.
And he rolls in the birdie putt from 15 feet to tie the lead.
Burns makes par.
Perez +2, B Griffin +1 (2)
Ben Griffin was only 25 feet away from the pin at the 2nd, but takes three putts to find the hole.
Scott +1, Hovland E (1)
Viktor Hovland finds his golf ball in the trees and takes an unplayable.
He's still on the path playing his third and has to navigate some trees to find the green.
And he does.
He's very happy to two-putt for bogey.
Meanwhile, Adam Scott three-putts from 65 feet.
Not the way Viktor Hovland wanted to start his third round.

MacIntyre +2 (13)
Robert MacIntyre makes his first mistake at the 13th.
Burns -3, Spaun -2 (1*)
Sam Burns and JJ Spaun are off.
Spaun finds fairway.
Burns' tee shot takes a few bounces into the rough. It doesn't look like it's in the heavy stuff, though...
1 | Sam Burns | -3 |
2 | J. J. Spaun | -2 |
3 | Viktor Hovland | -1 |
4 | Adam Scott | E |
4 | Ben Griffin | E |
6 | Sam Stevens | +1 |
6 | Carlos Ortiz | +1 |
6 | Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen | +1 |
6 | Thriston Lawrence | +1 |
10 | Robert MacIntyre | +2 |
Neergaard-Petersen +1 (7)
The Dane finds his fourth (!) birdie in a row at the 7th.
Some start...
Perez +2, B Griffin E (1)
Whilst we wait for Viktor Hovland to find his golf ball, let's check in on Ben Griffin and Victor Perez.
Perez pays the price for finding the rough off the tee and takes a bogey.
Griffin is in for par.
