That's a nice putt from Rory McIlroy.
His eagle attempt at the par-5 fifth is well short, but he rolls in the birdie nicely.
That's a nice start.

Viktor Hovland drains a putt of just under 30 feet to move to 5-under-par for the week!
This is his first birdie of the day and the young Norwegian will hope he can raise his game for the rest of the second round in Scotland.
Hovland hasn't made a top-10 since The Players Championship in March...
Cameron Young may have been overtaken by Cameron Smith at St Andrews, but the quality of his game hasn't wavered.

Four birdies in his first seven holes for Cam Smith.
What a start by the Australian...
He ties for the lead!
Oh, how we wanted that putt to drop.
But it's been the story of Tiger's week.
He's got a short putt for a birdie three at the last but he burns the left edge.
That'll be a 3-over 75, taking him to 9-over for the 150th Open Championship.
The crowd got to him there...
Oh wow.
Tiger Woods hits a beauty up 18 just short of the green.
He takes his cap off as he walks over the Swilken Bridge as Matthew Fitzpatrick and Max Homa stand well back to allow him to receive the applause.
As Rory McIlroy strides up one, he touches his cap in appreciation of the great man.
Woods takes his cap off again as the crowd roars, then appears to be a little bit tearful.
Was this goodbye St. Andrews or goodbye Open?
It certainly did look like a farewell of some sort...
Tiger, we hope to see you at St Andrews again

This is going to be an emotional walk for Tiger...
Jon Rahm leaves himself far too much work to do at 16, but manages to find the centre of the cup with a long putt to remain at 3-under.
Just the one hole left to go for Tiger Woods. He saves par to remain at 9-over in front of a huge crowd.

It's not going great for Tiger, but Fitzpatrick is moving in the right direction.
Fitzy drains a long putt across the green at 16 to move to 6-under, three back of Johnson.
It's an ugly double bogey for Woods, though...
Tiger is short of the green at 16 and has to go the high route.
His golf ball lands short of its intended target and rolls back into the bunker.
He's absolutely dejected, but he's not giving up.
Let's hope for a strong finish.
Will he stop over the Swilken Bridge?

It's in no way time for panic stations for Cameron Young, but he has bogeyed the 2nd hole in his second round.
The American's approach came up short and he failed to get up and down. It is his first bogey of the week.
He is back to 7-under-par, but he has a long way to go on Friday at St Andrews...
